【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandarddescribesthreemethodsfortheexposureofplasticsinamarineenvironment.MethodAcoversexposureswherespecimensfloatonthesurface,methodBcoversexposureswherespecimensarepartiallyimmersedandmethodCcoversexposureswherespecimensarecompletelyimmersed.Althoughintendedformarine(saltwater)exposure,themethodologymightbeusedwithoutdoorbrackishwaterandfresh-waterexposuresaswell.DirectweatheringofplasticsonlandisdescribedinISO877.MethodAisparticularlyapplicabletoenhanced-degradabilityplasticswheretheenvironmentaldegradationundermarinefloatingexposureisexpectedtobeacceleratedrelativetothatofregularplasticmaterials.ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesthegeneralrequirementsfortheapparatus,andproceduresforusingthetestmethodsdescribed.Itlistspropertiesthatmaybeusedtoevaluatechangesinplasticssubjectedtomarineexposure.MorespecificinformationaboutmethodsfordeterminingthechangesinpropertiesofplasticsonexposureandreportingtheseresultsisgiveninISO4582.
