【摘要】:ThisEuropeanstandardestablishesgeneralprinciplesfortheexecution,testing,supervisionandmonitoringofverticaldrainprojects.ThisEuropeanstandardincludestheapplicationofprefabricatedverticaldrainsandsanddrainsanddealswithrequirementstobeplacedondesign,drainmaterialandinstallationmethods.ThisEuropeanstandardappliestotheimprovementoflow-permeability,highlycompressiblesoilsbyverticaldrainageandpreloading.imformationregardingloading(embankment,vacuumorgroundwaterlowering)andpreloadingisgivenininformativeAnnexesAandB.Verticaldrainageisusedbothinonlandandinmarineconstructionsforthefollowingpuiposes:-(pre-)consolidationandreductionofpost-constructionsettlements;-speedinguptheconsolidationprocessbydecreasingthepathlengthsforporewaterdissipation;-increaseofstability(byincreasingeffectivestressesinthesoil);-groundwaterlowering;-mitigationofliquefactioneffects.Ineachcasethereisanoveralltreatmentofthesoil(thevolumeofthedrainsissmallinrelationtothesoilvolumetreated).ThisEuropeanstandarddoesnotincludesoilimprovementbymeansofwells,gravelandstonecolumns,large-diametergeotextileenclosedcolumnsorreinforcingelements.Verticaldrainagecanalsobecombinedwithotherfoundationorgroundimprovementmethods,e.g.electro-osmosis,pilesandcompactedsandpiles,dynamiccompactionanddeepmixing.Guidanceonpracticalaspectsofverticaldrainage,suchasinvestigationofdeainproperties,executionproceduresandequipment,isgiveninAnnexA.Investigationofsoilcharacteristicsandassessmentofdesignparameters,whichareaffectedbydrainpropertiesandexecution,arepresentedinAnnexB.
