【摘要】:ThisstandardcanbeusedtoestablishacceptancecriteriaforweldsoundnessbasedontheproceduresandreferenceradiographsofASTME390.Thegradesspecifiedinthisstandard,whileapplicableforgeneralexaminationuseforthematerialsandthicknessesindicated,maynotbesuitableforallapplications.1.1ThisstandardcoversrequirementsforradiographicexaminationforsoundnessofweldsinfabricatedsteelbycomparisontoselectedseveritylevelsofReferenceRadiographsE390,VolII.Thebasematerialvariesfromgreaterthan0.25to3in.(6.4x2013;76mm)inclusiveinthickness.VolumeIIisapplicable.Thisstandardisnotsuitableforshipyarduse.Note18212;ThisstandardwasadoptedtoreplaceMil-Std.1264-Bentitledx201C;RadiographicInspectionForSoundnessofWeldsInSteelByComparisonToGradedASTME390ReferenceRadiographs,x201D;dated18January,1989.Thisstandardisintendedtobeusedforthesameapplicationsasthedocumentwhichitreplaced.Usersshouldcarefullyreviewitsrequirementswhenconsideringthestandard''susefornewand/ordifferentapplications.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
